I feel like my posts about where you can eat for free on your birthday are getting stale (no pun intended), but the Washington Post listed this great website where you can find places near you that offer you freebies for just having a birthday! Kids, adults and even pets can benefit! Freebirthdaytreats.com is my new favorite website when a family member’s birthday is just around the corner!
What does Freebirthdaytreats.com have to offer? All you have to do is go to their website then do these three things:
- Choose a location: Are you looking for an online birthday treat, or are you looking for a birthday treat near home (you get to just pick your state for this one)
- Choose a business category: Retailer, restaurant, entertainment, travel ,or all of these
- Choose a treat category: Discount, free, or both
And that’s it! You’ll be given a list of places that match your criteria. However, many places ask that you sign up for their email list, birthday club, rewards club or some other kind of “membership” club that’s free to join so that they can send you offers throughout the year. Most likely, you won’t get bombarded with tons of offers from any one specific company, however, if you join enough “birthday clubs,” your email inbox could end up quite full. My suggestion would be to apply to all the clubs and email lists with a separate email address. You can get a free one through Google’s GMail.
If you want to make sure that you receive coupons or discounts in the mail to eat for free prior to your birthday or a family member’s birthday (although a lot of places have printable coupons), sign up for clubs a week or two before the birthday so any coupons that need to be mailed get to you in advance of the actual birthday. The good news though, is that a lot of places offer their treats for the entire month of your birthday!
Go visit Freebirthdaytreats.com now and start signing up for all those birthday clubs!
