An eBay Selling Strategy Worth Pursuing
I often talk about eBay on MyMochaMoney.com. And why not? Ebay is one of the fastest, cheapest ways to start making money in your spare time, from your own home–today. However, not all eBay sellers are created equal. If you are going to set yourself apart from the rest, you need successful eBay selling strategies that can and will put more money in your pocket now. In this post, I’m going to highlight one such eBay selling strategy.
First, I’ll tell you how I came across this strategy. The other day I was looking on eBay to purchase a fall wreath. I learned a while ago that some of the most talented crafters and artists sell on eBay where they can keep their overhead costs low.
In addition, many of these sellers are retired from previous careers where they were professional floral designers, interior designers, and other such positions. So, instead of going to an expensive garden center (like I normally do) to purchase my wreath for my front door this fall, I thought I would check out what was being offered from these talented eBay sellers.
I came across many wreaths that were beautiful–and nicely priced. I checked out the sellers by going to their About Me pages and indeed found that some of them were former floral designers. However, there was one that learned the art of wreath making on her own. She just had an eye for it. Luckily, she finally found her true calling and eBay afforded her the opportunity to do what she was probably always meant to do.
That got me thinking…wreaths are seasonal. Not just seasonal, but can be changed for each holiday, and in the U.S.–we have a lot of them.
What a fabulous eBay business to have if you are a wreath maker (or any other type of crafter for that matter). If you offer exceptional products at reasonable prices, and offer great customer service, then you should no doubt have repeat customers.
Being able to provide products to the same customers over and over again has to be the best eBay selling strategy that I can think of!
Let’s all pretend that we are in the wreath making business. If I’m a wreath maker, then I’m making wreaths for fall, winter, spring and summer. But not only am I creating for the seasons, I’m also creating wreaths for all the holidays.
My customers who purchased my seasonal wreaths may want a wreath for Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July…..you get the picture! If a customer buys one wreath from me that they love, you can bet that they’ll be back for more!
